Instructions
1. When removing a device from its packaging, unroll it and pay special attention to visually inspecting it for kinks, bends, or shattering. Do not use if abnormalities are found that may prevent its normal use.
2. Check the connecting wires, the cables must not have kinks, bends, broken or exposed wires, so that the power can be turned on normally, if there is any abnormality, the connecting wires should not be used.
3. Fully retract and extend the snare to verify that the product operates smoothly. Rotate the handle to confirm that the shreds can be turned flexibly.
4. In the case of turning off the power of high-frequency electrical equipment, perform a trial connection operation between the equipment and the device. Connect the connecting wire firmly to the electrode connection plug of the handle of the snare and the high-frequency electrical equipment. According to the requirements of the high-frequency electrical equipment manufacturer, place the patient return electrode and connect it to the high-frequency electrical equipment.
5. When the polyp is in the field of view of the endoscope, fully retract the snare into the sheath, and then slowly insert the sheath into the working channel of the endoscope until the front end of the snare protrudes out of the endoscope. WARNING: To ensure patient safety, power to high frequency electrical equipment should be disconnected until the snare is fully positioned around the polyp.
6. Push the snare slide handle until the snare shred is fully out of the sheath and place the shred around the polyp to be resected. In order to successfully capture polyps, the cutting plane should be perpendicular to the polyp pedicle. When not vertical, the handle can be rotated to adjust the angle of the snare plane until it is vertical. WARNING: To ensure patient safety, power to the HF generator device should be disconnected until the snare is fully positioned around the polyp.
7. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the high-frequency electric generator equipment, turn on the power, and verify the desired setting parameters.
8. Perform a polypectomy to cut the polyp.
9. After the polypectomy is completed, turn off the power of the high-frequency electric generator. Insert the snare into the sheath and withdraw it from the endoscope.
10. Collect polyps, prepare or dispose of samples according to the treatment methods of the hospital where you are located.
11. After the operation is completed, pull out the connection wire from the snare electrode connection plug, and dispose of this product according to the guidelines of the hospital's biohazardous medical waste.
12. Disconnect the connecting wire from the high-frequency electrical equipment, and wipe off all foreign objects on the connecting wire with a damp cloth. Store loosely coiled.
